Local SEO Audit for Home Service Contractors
A complete, prioritized audit of how your business shows up on Google Maps, in search results and in AI answers, written so you can act on it yourself, hand it to your current provider, or use it to decide whether monthly help is worth it.

Eight sections, all reviewed by hand
No tool export with a score on the front page. Every section is checked manually, written in plain English and ordered by what would move the needle first.
Google Business Profile
Categories, services, service areas, description, attributes, hours, photos and posting activity, with every gap listed.
Map visibility across your area
A grid scan showing where you rank on Google Maps across your service area, block by block, not just at your own address.
Website and technical health
Crawlability, speed, mobile issues, titles, headings, internal links and the service pages you’re missing.
Business listings and citations
Where your name, address and phone number disagree across directories, and which listings are worth fixing first.
Reviews
Volume, recency, rating, reply rate and what customers actually mention, compared with the competitors ranking above you.
AI visibility
What ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google’s AI Overviews say when asked to recommend a contractor in your area.
Competitor comparison
Three local competitors side by side with you: profile completeness, reviews, pages and visibility, so you can see the actual gap.
A prioritized action list
Everything I’d fix, in order, split into quick wins and bigger projects, with enough detail that any competent provider could execute it.
A walkthrough call
We go through the findings together on video, and you can ask anything. The recording and document are yours to keep.
How this differs from the free audit
The free audit tells you where you stand. The paid audit tells you exactly what to do about it, in an order you can work through.

How it works
You request it
Send your business name, website and the areas you serve. I’ll confirm the scope, the delivery date and how to pay before any work starts.
I build the audit
My team and I work through all eight sections by hand. I review everything and write the action list myself.
We go through it together
A video call where I walk you through the findings and answer questions. You keep the document either way.
Who this is for
- You have an in-house person or agency and want an independent view of what they should be doing.
- You’d rather do the work yourself but need someone to tell you what the work actually is.
- You’re weighing up a monthly plan and want a full picture before committing to anything.
- You just took over a business and inherited a profile and website you didn’t build.

Audit FAQ
How long does it take?
I’ll confirm a delivery date when you book, based on what’s already in the queue. It’s usually about a week from the day we agree the scope.
Do you need access to my accounts?
Not necessarily. Most of the audit uses public information. Read-only access to Search Console and analytics makes parts of it sharper, and I’ll ask if it would help, but it’s your call.
Can my current agency use it?
Yes. It’s written to be handed over. The action list is specific enough that any competent provider can work through it without me.
Will it tell me how much traffic I’ll get if I fix everything?
No, and be wary of anyone whose audit does. It will tell you what’s broken, what’s missing, how you compare to the competitors ranking above you, and what I’d do first.
What if I want you to do the work afterwards?
Then we talk about a monthly plan, and the audit becomes the first 90 days of it. There’s no pressure either way. See plans and pricing.
