Privacy Policy
This page explains what information LocalPulse SEO collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it. It’s written in plain English on purpose.
Who runs this site
This website, localpulseseo.com, is operated by Francis Marc Uy, trading as LocalPulse SEO, an independent SEO practitioner based in the Philippines serving clients in the United States.
For anything in this policy, email localpulseseo2026@gmail.com. I reply within one business day.
What I collect
Information you send me
When you submit a form or email me, I receive what you choose to provide: typically your name, email address, business name, website address, phone number if you include one, and whatever you write in the message.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics data. This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site: pages viewed, approximate location (city or region level), device and browser type, and how you arrived. It does not tell me who you are by name.
- Search data. Google Search Console reports which search queries lead to this site, in aggregate. It does not identify individual visitors.
- Server logs. The web host records standard technical information, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
- Cookies. Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site uses them for basic functionality, for analytics, and to remember your cookie preferences. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies using the banner shown on your first visit, and change your mind at any time through your browser settings.
Why I collect it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare any audit you request.
- To deliver services you’ve engaged me for, and to keep records of that work.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
- To keep the site secure and working.
I do not use your details for automated advertising, and I do not add you to a marketing list without you asking for it.
What I never do
- I never sell your information. To anyone. For any price.
- I never share your enquiry with third-party lead buyers.
- I never publish your business as a client, case study or testimonial without asking you first in writing.
Who else can see your data
Running a website means using services that process data on my behalf. The main ones are:
- Web hosting, which stores the site and its form submissions.
- Google, for Analytics and Search Console.
- Email, for receiving and replying to your messages.
- Form and consent plugins that run on the site itself.
Each of these has its own privacy policy. I share your information with them only as far as is needed to run the site and reply to you, never for their own marketing.
If you become a client, I may also be given access to accounts you own, such as your Google Business Profile or analytics. Those accounts stay in your name, I only use that access to do the agreed work, and you can remove it at any time.
How long I keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as they’re useful for following up, and client records for as long as needed for the work and ordinary business records. If you’d like your enquiry deleted sooner, email me and I’ll remove it.
Your choices and rights
- Ask what I hold about you, and I’ll tell you.
- Ask me to correct or delete it, and I’ll do so unless I’m required to keep it.
- Decline non-essential cookies through the banner, or block cookies in your browser.
- Opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
Depending on where you live, such as the EU, the UK or California, you may have additional legal rights over your personal information. Email me and I’ll honour them.
Children
This site is aimed at business owners. It isn’t directed at children, and I don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS and I keep software updated. No website can promise perfect security, but I don’t collect payment details through this site, and I don’t ask for sensitive personal information.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to other websites, such as Google’s documentation. Once you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the “last updated” date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be described here rather than slipped in quietly.
