Hi, I’m Francis. I Help Home Service Businesses Get Found.

I’m Francis, the founder of LocalPulse SEO and a local SEO expert for home service businesses. My team and I help HVAC, plumbing and roofing companies across the US earn more visibility on Google Maps, in search results and in AI answers, so more of the right calls come in.

From the classroom to SEO

Before SEO, I was a licensed teacher. I spent six years in the classroom, and the job taught me one thing I still use every day: if people don’t understand something, it isn’t their fault. It’s the explanation. If google doesn’t understand your website, its not about google’s, its your websites problem.

Six years teaching

A licensed professional teacher with a physics degree. Explaining hard things simply became the habit.

An accidental second career

I got curious about why some websites show up first and others never do, and that curiosity turned into a career.

Eight years in SEO

Across a wide mix of industries, home service trades among them.

Teaching again

I’ve walked a few friends through SEO from scratch, and one of them now works in the field full time. Those sessions reminded me how much clearer this work becomes when someone takes the time to explain it properly.

What 8 years of SEO taught me

The basics still do most of the work

A complete, accurate Google Business Profile, a clear website and consistent business listings solve more problems than any trick. Most businesses I look at are missing at least one of these.

The map decides a lot of your calls

For home service businesses, showing up on Google Maps for searches across your service area often matters more than anything else. That’s where I start.

AI answers are the new front door

Homeowners now ask Google’s AI Overviews and tools like ChatGPT who to call. Those tools lean on information that’s clear and consistent across the web. Getting that right is part of modern local SEO, not a separate trend.

How my team and I work

I plan and review everything

I build your strategy, set the priorities for each month and review every deliverable before it reaches you.

My team does the implementation

My two team members handle the hands-on work: profile updates, listings, on-page changes and content drafts. Nothing goes live without my review.

You have one point of contact: me

You won’t be passed between account managers. When you have a question, you talk to the person who planned the work.

Where I work and when

I’m based in the Philippines, and I work US business hours. I’d rather tell you this up front than have you wonder about it later.

  • Replies within one business day. Email me and you’ll hear back within one business day.
  • Video calls when you need them. We’ll meet by video to go over your audit, your plan and your monthly results.
  • The same work, clearly reported. SEO happens online. Your monthly report shows exactly what was done, wherever I’m sitting.

What I won’t do

  • Guarantee rankings. Nobody outside Google can promise a position, and Google’s own guidance warns against anyone who does.
  • Post fake reviews or invent results. Every review, number and case study you ever see from me will be real.
  • Hold your accounts hostage. Your Google Business Profile, analytics and website logins stay in your name. If we stop working together, you keep everything.
  • Lock you in for a year. Plans have a three-month minimum, then continue month to month.
  • Hide what you’re paying for. Prices are published, and every month’s deliverables are listed in your report.

Why I started LocalPulse SEO

I launched LocalPulse SEO in 2026 for a simple reason. Home service businesses do work that people genuinely need, yet many of them are hard to find online. Plenty of them have been sold SEO they never understood.

I wanted to offer the opposite: focused local SEO for the trades, explained in plain English, from someone you can actually talk to.

Working with a local SEO expert: quick answers

What should I look for when hiring a local SEO expert?

Someone who explains what they’re doing and why, shows you real work instead of vague promises, and is upfront about what SEO can’t guarantee. I’d also look for direct access to the person actually planning your strategy, not just an account manager relaying updates.

How do I find a local SEO expert for my business?

Ask to see examples of past work, check how clearly they explain their process, and confirm who you’ll actually be talking to month to month. For home service businesses specifically, look for someone who understands service-area targeting and Google Business Profile management, not just generic SEO.
